DESYN Lab applies design principles, aggregating crowd-sourced expertise to optimize collaborative intelligence for effective cross-disciplinary problem-solving.

Eco-sustainability problems harness innovation networks as ecosystems, developing decision support, capacity for knowledge synthesis, and “raising the collaborative IQ” of distributed, computer-human systems to address cross-disciplinary design challenges.

 Making Sense of Data through interpretation

In order to make sense of data,
collaborative intelligence harnesses diverse stakeholder perspectives
(eyes on the world), skills, priorities and expertise for cross-disciplinary problem-solving. Data (objective) is interpreted (subjective) as different eyes on the problem world interpret data differently, contextualizing and integrating knowledge for problem-solving and innovation.
